Swallowtails is not just a base, but a place to spend quality time as well if you want to stay put and relax. At Swallowtails, we offer yoga and mindfulness, massage, aromatherapy and outdoor activities for all ages designed to allow them you to connect with nature!
We offer 5 stylish, cosy, hassle free boutique glamping units in the form of spacious insulated luxury yurts which accommodate 4- 7 guests comfortably depending on the size of the yurt booked. We also offer 9 gravel and grass pitches or varying sizes which all have EHUs and water supply. We allow the use of raised firepits, but we also have a communal campfire that guests can use in the centre of the camping glade.

Freya and Mark have been running their campsite since 2015 first in North Norfolk and now in North Yorkshire.
They made the jump from living in London to moving back to the countryside of their childhood in 2005. In Freya’s case, it was a return from working as a scenic artist for theatre, film and television.
They are environmentally minded and try to limit our impact on the environment as much as possible. We live next to campsite with our two children and enjoy getting to know our guests especially around the campfire on starry nights.
