  • Our tents have a minimum 2 night stay at off peak times and 3 night minimum at peak times (Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday stays). We are unable to offer shorter stays in advance, but shorter stays can be booked as part of a last minute deal subject to availability.
  • We have a £100 damage deposit in case. We will give you a tour of your yurt on arrival.
  • ‘Check In’ is normally from 4pm - 7pm (please try to check in before dark), check out by 11am on the day of departure (to allow for changeover)
  • On arrival, please follow signs for reception, park by the house and walk down to the glampsite reception which will be signposted.
  • We ask guests to use the wheelbarrows provided to bring their possessions to their yurts or 'Lotus Belle' tent and at the end of their stay with us. The car park is right next to the glamping area. This preserves the condition of the glade and is safer for young children.
  • Each yurt/'Lotus Belle' tent is allocated one free parking space in the visitors car park. Additional cars will need to be added to the 'extras' section on booking.
  • Luxury yurts sleep up to 5 people (if sleeping 5 in one of our 18ft yurts, you will need to hire a single camp beds and bedding for an additional £10 per night). Our extra large luxury yurt sleep 6, but can accommodate 7 if a camp bed and bedding is hired. To reserve a camp bed and bedding use the 'extras' section during the booking process.
  • We encourage guests to get to know each other at the communal campfire. Acoustic musicians are welcome to play at Swallowtails before 10pm. As we have families with young children staying with us, quiet time is 11pm and noise should be kept to a minimum from 10.30pm.
  • No shoes in the yurts to avoid damage to the yurts/bell tents, especially on a wet day.
