10 CAMP PITCHES FOR TENTS, CAMPERVANS AND MOTORHOMES (UNDER 7M LONG).
Versatile flat well draining grass and gravel pitches set in an small campsite just a short walk from Pickering. You can either use the hard standing area to park on if you are booking a campervan or motorhome, or use the adjacent grass pitch for pitching tents and use the hard standing area as a picnic area of for an awning. Please book jumbo or large pitches for larger family sized tents.
Small pitches would suit 1 or 2 man small tents, a campervan or motorhome without an awning. The rest of the pitches can accommodate an average size awning.

Our pitches are well draining level gravel and grass pitches. All of our pitches now have electric hook ups and all have their own water supply (there are shared grey water and Elsan waste points onsite). Jumbo and large pitches have their own picnic table provided saving you having to bring one.
We allow the use of raised firepits, but we also have a communal fire in the middle of the campsite just a short distance from each pitch which makes for a very sociable campsite where guests can put the world to rights around the fire of an evening whilst the kids play and make friends. Fire logs, fire lighters and kindling can be purchased from the supplies shack.
All pitches are in a row, so if you are making a group booking, and would like to be placed next to each other, please send us an email (info@swallowtailholidays.co.uk) and we will do our best to position your group together.
Swallowtails also provide a range of outdoor adult, family or kids activities in the warmer months.
